The latest release is Version 1.9.1b (around 2020), which is available in the author’s GitLab repository (https://gitlab.com/BCable/surrogafier).
In 2019, Surrogafier made a significant shift in its licensing approach by transitioning to a permissive MIT license. This change set it apart from other web proxy scripts available (see the comparison of web proxy scripts), allowing users greater freedom to utilize, modify, and distribute the software without many of the restrictions that typically accompany more restrictive licenses.
